While in Vancouver we spent a lovely fall day walking around Stanley Park. Mid-October was a perfect time for a visit to the park. The leaves were changing and it was beautiful. It did rain most of the time we were in Vancouver, but being from Oregon, that is something we are used to. Luckily most of the time we were at the park the weather was nice.
When we first got to Stanley Park, the first thing we saw were these adorable squirrels! This sweet little guy posed for a few photos for me.
We walked from close to the red dot at the bottom of the sign all the way to the most north spot, before we decided to head back to our hostel. There are bikes that you can rent to ride around the park, which I have been told is an excellent way to view the park. I thought it was cool there was lanes for bikes and a separate lane for pedestrians; which I think makes for a much more relaxing bike ride/ walk, not having to worry about dodging one-another.
The park offers a gorgeous view of the city over the harbour.
You can see the dark clouds rolling in!
If you don’t mind a little rain, fall is the perfect time to visit the park! I love all the colors in the leaves!
A visit to Stanley Park is a must see on your trip to Vancouver.
Have a great day!
