New Year – White teeth with Smile Brilliant!
The last year has gone by so fast! Have you figured out your goals for the New Year? My plans for this year are graduation from college and finding a job in my chosen field. Your smile is the first thing people will notice about you, so making the right first impression is important to me. I was so excited when Smile Brilliant contacted me about trying out their product and hosting a giveaway! I had never had my teeth professionally whitened before, so I was excited to see the results!
A few days after speaking with the kind people at Smile Brilliant – the mail came!
The kit comes with everything you need. The putty for making impressions, whitening gel, and desensitizing gel. The top circle bottles hold the putty you use to make your impressions, you knead the contents of the grey bottle and the blue bottle together until they are fully combined, then press into the trays and make your impressions. They give you an extra just in case you need to redo one, which is a great peace of mind. The putty sets pretty quickly so before I began mixing I set a timer to make sure I was being quick enough!
My impressions were ready to send back to Smile Brilliant so they could make my custom-fitting whitening trays!
I dropped my impressions in the mailbox the next day and a week later the custom-fit whitening trays arrived in the mail.
Now I could get started whitening my teeth!
And it was soo easy.
I started a new after-dinner routine
After dinner I would floss and brush my teeth with water, then I put on the whitening gel. When I first started whitening I was nervous about my teeth being sensitive. I decided to start off slow and work my way up to longer whitening times. You can whiten for up to three hours, but not more than once per day! I tried to do my whitening after dinner as much as I could for maximum results, but on days I was not able to due to working late I would just be sure not to eat for a least an hour after whitening.
Whiten on your own schedule!
While I was whitening I was reading,
checking my social media
I also did a little sewing- with the help of my cats!
He says “it is nice and warm where you ironed mom, I’ll just sit here!”
I love the fact that I can whiten my teeth and not waste time and loads of money at the dental clinic by doing it myself from home!
I noticed the first few times I would clench my teeth together which made my teeth a bit sore, but after a few times whitening I learned to relax and not hold my teeth tight together and had no problems after that!
After whitening, brush your teeth with toothpaste and then put the desensitizing gel on for about 20 minutes. This helps protect your teeth from sensitivity. After using the desensitizing gel you should refrain from eating for the next hour. Smile Brilliant recommends whitening for 45 minutes – 3 hours per day, and only once a day and they recommend doing the whitening before bed to maximize the whitening effects.
I began to notice the results after just a few whitenings! My end results:
